Terms of Use
Effective date: September 15, 2026 Last updated: September 15, 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the RedPlate mobile application (“RedPlate” or the “App”), operated by Wiktor Baron (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By downloading, accessing, purchasing a subscription to, or using RedPlate, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use RedPlate.
1. About RedPlate
RedPlate is a strength-training and workout-tracking application designed to help users record and analyze training information and related fitness progress.
RedPlate may provide features including workout tracking, strength calculations, estimated performance metrics, progress analytics, comparisons, training-related recommendations, and other fitness functionality.
RedPlate is not a medical service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use RedPlate.
If you are under the age of legal majority where you live, you may use RedPlate only with the permission or involvement of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
By using RedPlate, you represent that you are legally permitted to use the App.
3. Fitness and medical disclaimer
RedPlate is provided as a fitness, training, and informational tool.
RedPlate does not provide medical advice, medical diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, physical therapy, or professional healthcare services.
Any information displayed by RedPlate — including estimated one-repetition maximums, strength estimates, training analytics, fatigue information, exercise information, suggested weights, performance indicators, or other calculations — is informational and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
You should not rely on RedPlate as a substitute for advice from a physician, physiotherapist, qualified coach, or other appropriate professional.
Strength training and exercise inherently involve risks, including serious injury.
You are responsible for determining whether an exercise, weight, training program, or other physical activity is appropriate for you.
If you experience pain, unusual symptoms, illness, or injury, you should stop the relevant activity and seek appropriate professional advice when necessary.
If you have an existing injury, medical condition, or other reason to believe that exercise may present a risk to you, you should consult an appropriate healthcare professional before participating.
4. Injury and discomfort information
RedPlate may allow you to record pain, injuries, discomfort, or affected areas of your body.
These entries are intended to help you organize your own training information.
RedPlate does not monitor these entries.
Entering an injury, pain location, or other health-related information into RedPlate does not notify Wiktor Baron, a coach, a physician, emergency services, or any other person.
RedPlate is not an emergency service.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service immediately.
5. Your training data
RedPlate's workout and training data is primarily stored locally on your device.
We do not currently provide a RedPlate account or cloud-sync service for this information.
You are responsible for your device and for maintaining any device-level backups you consider necessary.
Deleting RedPlate, deleting application data, losing or damaging your device, operating-system actions, software errors, or other events may result in permanent loss of locally stored information.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss of locally stored training data caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
For more information about how information is handled, see the RedPlate Privacy Policy.
6. RedPlate Pro subscriptions
RedPlate may offer access to additional features through an automatically renewing paid subscription known as RedPlate Pro or a similar name.
RedPlate currently offers:
- a weekly subscription; and
- a yearly subscription.
RedPlate currently does not offer a free trial unless one is expressly displayed to you at the time of purchase.
The exact subscription price applicable to you will be displayed in the App Store before you confirm your purchase.
Prices may vary by country, currency, taxes, App Store pricing rules, promotions, or later changes.
7. Billing and automatic renewal
Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple through Apple's in-app purchase system.
Your subscription will automatically renew for another subscription period unless you cancel it before renewal through the subscription-management settings associated with your Apple account.
Apple controls the billing transaction and renewal process.
We do not receive your complete payment-card information.
If subscription prices change, any required notices, consent, or other procedures will be handled in accordance with applicable law and Apple's platform rules.
8. Cancellation
You may cancel a RedPlate subscription through your Apple subscription settings.
Deleting RedPlate from your device does not automatically cancel an active subscription.
Unless applicable law or Apple's rules provide otherwise, cancellation prevents future renewal and you may continue using paid functionality until the end of the subscription period for which you have already paid.
9. Refunds
Purchases made through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple's applicable payment and refund rules.
Where Apple controls the transaction, requests for refunds generally need to be made through Apple.
Nothing in these Terms limits any refund, withdrawal, consumer, or statutory rights that you have under mandatory applicable law.
10. Restoring purchases
RedPlate may provide functionality to restore eligible purchases associated with your Apple account.
Availability of restored purchases depends on Apple's systems, the relevant purchase, your Apple account, and applicable platform rules.
RedPlate uses RevenueCat to help verify subscription entitlements and purchase status.
11. Permitted use
Subject to these Terms and any applicable App Store license terms, RedPlate is provided to you for personal, lawful use.
You must not:
- use RedPlate in violation of applicable law;
- attempt to interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of RedPlate;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or services associated with RedPlate;
- exploit bugs, vulnerabilities, or technical mechanisms for fraudulent purposes;
- circumvent or attempt to circumvent subscription or payment mechanisms;
- use RedPlate to distribute malware or malicious code;
- impersonate another person for fraudulent purposes; or
- use RedPlate in a way that materially interferes with another person's lawful use of the App.
Nothing in this section restricts activities that applicable law expressly permits despite contractual restrictions.
12. Intellectual property
RedPlate, including its original software, visual design, branding, graphics, mascot designs, interface elements, text, icons, animations, and other original content, is owned by or licensed to Wiktor Baron and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of RedPlate or its intellectual property to you.
You receive only the rights necessary to use the App in accordance with these Terms and the applicable App Store license.
Third-party libraries, technologies, trademarks, and other materials remain the property of their respective owners.
13. Apple App Store license
If you obtain RedPlate through Apple's App Store, your license to use the application is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA) unless a different applicable license is expressly provided.
These Terms govern your relationship with RedPlate and supplement applicable platform terms.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to override mandatory Apple App Store terms applicable to your use of the App.
14. Third-party services
RedPlate relies on certain third-party services to provide particular functionality.
These currently include:
- Apple, for App Store distribution and in-app purchases;
- RevenueCat, for managing and verifying subscription entitlements; and
- Shorebird, for software patches and application updates.
Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
We are not responsible for third-party services to the extent their operation is outside our reasonable control, subject always to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Software updates
RedPlate may be changed or updated from time to time.
Updates may be distributed through the App Store or through technology such as Shorebird where permitted by applicable platform rules and law.
Updates may include bug fixes, performance improvements, security improvements, visual changes, or modifications to existing functionality.
Certain features may change over time as RedPlate develops.
16. Availability
We aim to keep RedPlate functional and available, but we do not guarantee that the App will always operate without interruption, bugs, errors, incompatibilities, or data loss.
Features may depend on your device, operating-system version, internet connection, Apple services, RevenueCat, Shorebird, or other third-party infrastructure.
We may modify, temporarily suspend, or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.
Where paid functionality is materially affected, we will comply with any mandatory consumer obligations that apply.
17. Calculations and generated information
Training calculations are estimates.
Strength estimates, one-repetition maximum calculations, rankings, trophies, progress metrics, comparisons, analytics, and similar outputs may differ from your actual physical performance.
They should not be interpreted as guarantees that you can safely perform a particular weight or activity.
Always exercise appropriate judgment when selecting training loads.
18. No warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RedPlate is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee that:
- RedPlate will always be available or error-free;
- calculations will always be accurate;
- use of RedPlate will produce a particular fitness or strength result;
- every device or operating-system version will remain supported indefinitely; or
- locally stored data can always be recovered.
This section does not exclude warranties, guarantees, or other rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
19. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wiktor Baron will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or purely economic losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control or from misuse of RedPlate.
In particular, you remain responsible for decisions concerning the exercises you perform, the weights you attempt, and your physical participation in training.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights available to you.
20. Suspension or termination of access
We may restrict access to RedPlate or particular services where reasonably necessary to:
- comply with applicable law;
- prevent fraud or abuse;
- protect RedPlate or its users;
- respond to security threats; or
- enforce these Terms.
Because RedPlate currently operates without user accounts, some forms of account-level suspension may not technically apply.
Your rights relating to an existing paid subscription remain subject to applicable law and Apple's platform rules.
21. Changes to RedPlate
RedPlate is an actively developed product.
We may add, remove, redesign, or modify features over time.
We may also change which features are free and which require a subscription, subject to applicable law and any rights associated with purchases you have already made.
22. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when RedPlate changes, when legal requirements change, or when clarification is necessary.
The latest version will identify its effective or last-updated date.
Where required by applicable law, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes.
Your continued use of RedPlate after changes take effect constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by applicable law.
23. Governing law and consumer rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without prejudice to mandatory laws that may apply in the country where you live.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the laws of your country of residence.
Any dispute will be handled by the court or other competent authority determined under applicable law.
24. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
The invalid provision will be interpreted or limited only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable where legally possible.
25. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the RedPlate Privacy Policy and applicable App Store terms, govern your use of RedPlate.
They do not replace mandatory rights that applicable law gives you.
